About Us
The W.A. Bush Fire Museum and Heritage Group Inc. is based out of Bridgetown. The Group is dedicated to collecting, preserving and displaying the oral, pictorial and artefactual history of Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades and firefighting agencies involved in bush fire prevention and suppression within Western Australia, as well as recording significant bush fires that occur. Our research also extends into the fire management practices by Indigenous Australian people from past to present.
The WA Bush Fire Museum and Heritage Group is dedicated to promoting fire safety in the rural environment in an effort to prevent devastating fires from occurring in Western Australia.
